Thanks Dan for posting that. Although, Universal puts future season episodes on pretty much all their releases like Magnum PI. The "Great 80's TV Flashback" probably has a little mentioning of Quantum Leap, obviuosly because it has to have all the big hit 80s TV shows like Magnum PI, Cheers, Airwolf, and a lot more. I can't think of any more at the moment. Thanks again! Steve Tom_Nevers_Owner

I read the Sitcoms Online review of the Wings DVD set and it's not the best review. They mention that that video quality isn't top notch (meaning they didn't digitalize it) and there are no extras such as bloopers, cast interviews, etc. That is nothing new with Paramount though. They don't ever go the extra mile for tv shows they put on DVD. They did the same thing with MacGyver but I still watch the DVD's all the time because I love them, and its nice to have them on DVD.
In the end, Wings got a good review because the sound quality is awesome (not to mention we can finally hear the end theme without Nick at Night or TV land voices getting in the way.
8 days and I can't wait!

I read that review, too. It's a shame Paramount didn't put more into this, b/c we KNOW there is a fanbase out there for this show!! Wasn't it one of the most requested shows at tvshowsondvd.com?? You'd think that would mean something! Sorry, I'm done ranting. AAAAAH! One week left, I can't wait!!

Yeah, that sucks that there won't be any special features. I was really hoping for bloopers and things. Oh well. *shrugs*

That does suck. Why couldn't they have put outtakes, bloopers, etc. on there? IMO, I think $50.00 list/in store price is too much to pay for a package that just has the episodes and nothing else. If you think Paramount sucks for DVDs, you should see Warner Brothers.

I know for a fact that there are a lot of Wings bloopers because I saw one of those bloopers shows that had some of them. Also, you would think that a lot of these actors would be more than willing to do interviews for the DVD set. I honestly don't understand Paramounts view on this. The more you put on these DVD's, the more people will buy them. The behind the scenes and interview stuff is what sells. Why just put these out there when you could add so much and sell a lot more. And Monk Girl is right on the list prices of some of these DVD sets. Way too high for the little they have on them.

I bought Wings Season 1 & 2 this morning and it is great! Great picture and great sound! I was shocked that it wasn't on sale but $31.99 isn't bad considering what you get. Watching a Terminal Christmas (funny episode!) was pretty cool since I have never seen it before and TV Land has never shown it. Very cool images on the DVD's and inside the cases. I can finally get rid of some VHS tapes.
Go out and get it!!
