We are all anxiously awaiting the release of Wings on DVD. In the meantime, what are some other TV shows you own on DVD? Or what are some you would like to have?
I don't have very many. Just Three's Company season one, and M*A*S*H seasons one, seven and eight. I would like the other seasons of TC, but can't find them in my area. I am going to get season 9 of M*A*S*H when it comes out next month.
I also would like to get The Nanny, but not as much as I would like to have Wings!

I have:
Monk Seasons One - Three (I don't know if I'll be getting Season Four when it comes out. Depends on if I have extra money laying around.) French and Saunders Absolutely Fabulous Series One - Four (I don't know if I'm going to buy Series Five. I was slightly disappointed by it, but it was better than Series Four.)

I have all the Monk Season 1-3, all three Macgyver seasons (4 is on the way in December), and I have both seasons of the Munsters and all the released seasons of Seinfeld.

My brother wanted The Munsters DVD so badly, but last time I talked to him, he said it was too expensive for him! It's a very cute show, though. Man, that Fred Gwynne was in some good movies later in his career before his death, wasn't he?

The Munsters DVD's are quite expensive, but they well worth it. I love all the episodes of The Munsters, they are so original!
Fred Gwynne never did get the respect I think he should have. I don't think he was ever typecasted but I just thought he would get more rolls then he did. Although, he was in Pet Sematary, My Cousin Vinny, Shadows and Fog, and Fatal Attraction.

I also saw Yvonne De Carlo in a good movie once. It was an old movie called Band of Angels. I think Fred Gwynne just got better as he got older. I didn't think too much of Car 54, Where Are You?

"The Munsters" was a pretty good show. I like it well enough, but I don't know if I would call it original. It was kind of an "Addams Family" rip-off. I always liked "The Addams Family" much more. Someday I would like to get that on DVD. Okay, and "The Munsters". ;D "Car 54" was pretty dumb. I never cared for it. I think when it came to Fred Gwynne he was overshadowed by his Herman Munster character and never really got the recognition he deserved. I have seen Yvonne De Carlo in "McClintock". She had a small part. She played the maid, something or other. I've never seen "Band of Angels". Supposedly she was in an epiosde of "Tales from the Crypt." Which one, I don't know.

It's funny how most people either like the Addams Family or the Munsters! It's another great debate like "Ginger or Maryanne".... "The Addams Family or the Munsters" LOL.
It's a shame when that happens to a really great actor, but it has happened to many.
McClintock, that's a John Wayne movie isn't it? I have never watched it because I am one of the few who is not a fan of "the Duke", unfortunately.

When I was growing up in AZ, there was a local tv show I watched everyday called "Wallace and Ladmo". I would absolutely love to have the DVD's of this show. I know that people who are not from AZ have probably never heard of it. The people on it did have a national hit song back in the 60's, though, called "Work". That was way before my time. Their show on local tv ran from the 50's into the 80's or early 90's.

Aeromess,
Sometimes it helps to check Ebay for shows like that. Sellers will occasionally put those on either VHS or DVD. You have to make sure they are good quality but it is worth it to keep checking Ebay.

Thanks, Dan! That was some great information on TC and I'll be sure to pass it on to the other fans of the show I communicate with!

OT: I am finding the way this site replaces the letters A, S and S in that order with butt, no matter what word they are in increasingly annoying!
