Nix, I am renting Scary Movie 4 this weekend. I agree though, enough is enough with these movies.

I saw Hollywoodland on Saturday night and it is a great story about George Reeves and would could have happened to him. Ben Affleck was actually really good in this.

Dark Water.
Pretty good, not really a horror movie, very Alfred Hitchcock like.

All the films I've watched lately have had Alice Krige (pronounced kree-gah, otherwise known as the Borg Queen from Star Trek: First Contact) in them. I think I've developed quite a girl crush on her. :X Such an accomplished, underutilized actress. Silent Hill The Calling Kind of an "Omen" rip-off. It would have been better if the highly annoying Laura Harris was killed by Alice in this. Mwahaha! The Little Vampire Okay, it's a Disney movie, sue me. High on the fluff factor, but how often are you going to see Alice as a vampire?

I remember Alice Krige from the Devils Advocate. She has been in a lot of movies, mostly supporting roles. You're right, she is underused.

What good stuff did they cut out, I am curious. I haven't seen that movie in years but loved it! I remember that was Fred Astaire's last movie.

XMen: Last Stand I didn't care for how some of the characters were killed off. Night of the Living Dead Corpse Bride Deja vu! This seemed similar to The Nightmare Before Christmas. Land of the Dead yet again. They cut out some of the ghost/corpse sequences, and some dialog. The other things they cut out are probably not appropriate to discuss on this board. LOL Yeah, it was Fred Astaire's last film, some of the others as well, I think.

I think I know what you mean by inappropriate. I wonder where I could find a uncut version of that movie. I will have to check Ebay to see if that is even on DVD. Watched V for Vendetta again.

So do I. I won't buy it through E-bay though. Could potentially get ripped off.
Another Alice Krige film: Sleepwalkers Had this movie for years, and didn't realise she was in it. LOL She's the only one who holds this film together, otherwise it is pretty crappy.
Wolven
Halloween, Halloween II, Halloween III Having not seen HIII since I was a zygote, I think I know why they don't show it very often. It's a complete disaster of a film. It doesn't follow the original storyline at all.

I completely forgot about Sleepwalkers, have only seen it once. Wasn't there something weird like incest involved with the two main characters?? Oh don't get me started on Halloween III. Why did they even title the movie that when Michael Myers wasn't even involved??? Just a terrible movie that really has no plot other than killing kids with exploding pumpkin masks. I don't understand why they make sequels (in title only) when the movies have nothing to do with the original series. For instance, "The Horror Show", outside the U.S. that movie is actually House III. Why? ?? Whenever I go to the video store and see House II and then House IV, I just roll my eyes.

Return of the Living Dead, Return of the Living Dead II
Shaun of the Dead Cool movie! I highly reccomend it if you haven't seen it.
Against the Ropes Too much Meg Ryan (whom I loathe), not enough Tony Shalhoub or Tim Daly.
Saw II
Lots of Monsterfest on AMC
Yes, in Sleepwalkers Alice's character and Brian Krause's character are always having it off. There's also a few cameos of other film makers in this, as well as Stephen King himself. There's even Mark Hamill! LOL
Those House movies are just ROFL funny, not scary at all.

Click - fell away from a lot of Sandler stuff since it is usually the same thing, but this was better than a few of his last movies. Good ending.
