Not really new, just new name

It's just me, the former AeroMess, now calling myself by this other name cuz it is one I use in a bunch of other forums. I have a question for you. Can you move my # of posts from the old site to this one? Losing all the posts I had will make me very sad.

I still have to figure out how to transfer the posts from the old board to here. When I say transfer, I mean repost them as me but under all your usernames. It was done over at Al's Place(Quantum Leap message board which also moved away from ezboard). The old forum posts were brought back to the new forum under the names that posted them but it showed them as guests. Does that make sense? LOL! I'll try emailing the webmaster there to see if he can help me. So, yes, I'll try my best at bringing the old board posts over here. I wish I could bring back all the posts from before the attack.

I did, however, figure out how to change the number of posts to how many all of us had at the other board. I only counted local posts on those who were registered as a global member @ ezboard. That makes more sense. And I changed all your custom titles to the ones you had at Ezboard. Now, Kristin was a little different. She registered first as MTMfan and then again as "Kristin". To calculate her # of posts I just simply added all the accounts together to make 10. And yes that includes the one post here.

Very cool! Good job, Steve. You put a lot of work into this! I decided to change my name back to AeroMess last night when I saw you could have one name for log in and one that people see on the board.

Hey everyone, it's Mather from the old Tom Nevers site. Just wanted to check in and let everyone know that I made the transfer from the other site. This looks great, thanks for going through all the hard work to set this up. Is there anyway I can get my posts moved over here too?

Hi Mather, or Dan, is it? I didn't know it was you under that username so I changed your custom title to "Nantucket Tourist". I'll change that and the # of posts that you had on the other board plus the 2+ that you posted here. BTW, Administrative modifications are the only ones that I will change. The rest are up to each member. # of posts and custom titles and whether or not someone wants to be a moderator, those are in the administrative section.

Thank you for updating my info. Yep, it's Dan, Mather (from the other site) and now Brian Hackett. THought I would switch it up a bit. I think I will stick with Brian Hackett. I look forward to posting on the new site!
