I thought the pilot was really good and am interested in watching future episodes. Although I can do without the "fast talk while walking down the hall" routine that every show is doing these days.

Yeah, West Wing has a lot of that routine. I like to think of Studio 60 as a TV production version of what West Wing was all about. BTW, I highly reccommend watching Aaron Sorkin and Rob Reiner's The American President starring Michael Douglas and Annette Bening. "Chief Executive of a Fantasyland". LOL!
Edit: In addition, Matt Albie and Harriet Hayes(Matthew Perry & Sarah Paulson), although a "Ross & Rachel" type couple, make up the central romance of the series while President Andy Shepherd and Sydney Wade made up the romance of the movie, do I really have to mention it, "The American President".

Has anybody been watching this show as of late, to see how good it has been? I just haven't been watching since the first episode.

I watched the first 3 - 4 episodes, but I think it is at a bad time. I did like the shows, but the fast talk can give me an aneurysm (sp?). Great cast, but it is always in jeopardy mode! Constant will they make, won't they make it. Reminded me of work, so I get stressed watching it.

A lot of people, including some of my family, can't stand the personal storylines that most shows are doing. Cold Case, Without A Trace, NCIS, etc. I agree, but only with certain shows. 24 could do without it, Cold Case and Without a Trace could also do without it. I think NCIS is the only one listed above that I don't mind seeing personal storylines because of the fact that its co-creator/exec. producer Donald Bellisario also created "Quantum Leap" which is a very personal show. EVERY episode deals with the personal lives of several people. I think that show is an exception. If not NCIS.
