This Friday October 28th, Showtime starts the "Masters of Horror" series. There will be 13 original stories from directors like John Carpenter (Halloween), Joe Dante (The Howling), John Landis (An American Werewolf in London), Tobe Hooper (Texas Chainsaw Massacre), and more.
I guess the series is supposed to be very good.
One episode, entitled "Jennifer" stars Steven Weber (Wings). Here is what they say about the episode.
Jennifer:
Based on the short story written by Bruce Jones, Jenifer is the shocking tale of a modern-day Lolita who, through her Siren-like powers, ultimately destroys the bodies and souls of all men unfortunate enough to cross her path. After police officer Frank (Steven Weber) saves her life, he adopts her, only to learn that no good deed goes unpunished. Jenifer is a twisted and terrifying tale with a horrific twist that warns us all to be careful of what we bring into our homes.
I liked Steven Weber's work in "The Shinning" so I am going to definitely check this out!

That sounds really good, but unfortunately I dont get Showtime. I really liked Steven Weber in the Shining, too. He was great!

I don't get Showtime either. Maybe they'll release the whole series on DVD later on? "The Shining" was just on yesterday on USA Network. I agree, Steven was great in it.

I know! It's ridiculous how much they want for them. From what I've heard the episodes haven't been very good anyway. :\

That is too bad. I haven't seen any reviews myself but I was looking forward to seeing them.
