We really need to get some action going in this forum!!! I though I would try to get us going by asking what everyones favorite movies are. I thought I would go away from the top five and just ask everyone to list a few or even a list of their all-time favorites. Here are some of mine!
Thunderheart The Burbs' Ghostbusters The Day After Tomorrow Halloween Office Space FX2 The Zero Effect Jaws Beverly Hills Cop
Those are just a few, I have many. What about everyone else!!!

I agree we need to do something to get this forum going!
Here's a few of my favs:
Star Wars Saga (we agree on that one MGF) I've Been Waiting For You That movie about the Black Hope Cemetary (can't remember the name it was a TV movie) Double Indemnity The Bad Seed The Amityville Horror (old version, didn't like remake that much... it was okay) Sound of Music (don't laugh) Wizard of OZ (again don't laugh) The Long Long Trailer (cute old Lucille Ball/Desi Arnaz movie)
I have unusual and varied taste

Oh yeah! I really love Stephen King! I have seen It, The Shining, Rose Red, Christine, all of those so many times, but I never get tired of them!

And Steven Weber is in Stephen King's Desperation next year! I loved "IT", scared the hell out of me when I was a kid.

I'm looking forward to Desperation. Steven Weber was so awesome in The Shining, much better than the version with Jack Nicholson. I forgot to mention Tim Daly in Storm of the Century.
My fav parts of "It" are the flashbacks to when the group was young. The overall movie is excellent, although I was disappointed by the end.

The ending of "IT" was terrible.....a big spider......what?
I also think Steven Weber was much better in the remake.
I just bought Storm of the Century two weeks ago.....way too long but awesome! I can't recall the name of the actor who plays the "bad guy" in it but man does he deserve credit for that role. He has to be one of the scariest villains in movie history.

Yeah, he was great! And the ending of that one wasn't disappointing either. But you know what Stephen King movie I was really disappointed with was " Ride the Bullet" or "Riding the Bullet" I'm not sure the exact name, but I thought it was pretty boring overall. It did have a few interesting scenes.

I agree with that. "Riding the Bullet" was not a very good movie and that shocks me because Mick Garris directed it and he is one of the better horror film directors right now. He is the man who just finished directing "Desperation." We will see how he does with that one.

It would have to be better than "Riding the Bullet"!
I just thought of another movie to add to my list of favs, not a horror movie though. "Barefoot in the Park" the original with Robert Redford and Jane Fonda, a very cute movie I could watch anytime it is on TV.

Funny you should mention that. I remember when I first saw Barefoot in the Park when I was a teenager. I was watching TV on a lazy Sunday and I came across it and couldn't stop watching it. I love that movie. You're right, it is very cute and I could also watch it anytime.
Great choice!
Another one of my all-time favorites is Breakfast at Tiffany's. Audrey Hepburn is so adorable in it.

Yes, that is a good one, too. I have only seen it once. There's lots of classic movies I have never seen and would like to such as Casablanca and Camille. I should watch TCM more often.

TCM has a great variety of classics. I have seen some great movies on that network. Another good one is "His Girl Friday".

I just watched "Father Goose" over the weekend. That was really good, too! I like Cary Grant and they've been showing alot of his work lately.
