Yeah, Ghostbusters is a classic. I like just about every movie with Bill Murray in it though. I think the only one I saw that he was in that I didn't like was Rushmore.
Oh and I just thought of some others...
The Long Kiss Goodnight Ronin The French Connection Apollo 13 Saving Private Ryan

Ronin has some of the most awesome car chases caught on film.

I have to add "X-Files Fight the Future".
I really hope they come out with a sequel.

Saw SawII I can't wait to see what's in store in Saw III this autumn! Fight the Future is okay, but it really messed the show's mythology up, big time. As far as a sequel, the likelihood of that is slim to none. Chris Carter sued Fox over some syndication money matters, and now Fox claims that they own "The X-Files" franchise solely, and not Carter. Fox stated that they have no desire to produce anything more pertaining to "The X-Files".

Thanks for the info MonkeyGirl. Now I'm mad! Why do people need to get into the power thing. I guess the only thing Chris Carter could do would be to bring them to court and if he wins, he could release it through someone else. But, I did read a recent article with Gillian Anderson and she was mentioning how she is happy to get other roles and was tired of being identified as Dana Scully. Although, I don't know why it would upset her, it made her career!!

It's frustrating, to say the least. I can remember when they were saying there would be a sequel film released in 2000. Now, it'll probably never happen. It's not that Gillian isn't greatful that the show helped launch her career, she's very greatful for that. She just wishes that people could move on, and see past the Dana Scully character. After all, IMO, she was excellent in The House of Mirth, and just recently aired in the US, "Bleak House".

You know I really hate when stars act this way. Someday when her career hits the skids, she would probably be very happy to revisit that character. It happens to all of them eventually.

I have liked Gillian Anderson in other films too, such as Hell Cab, but have always thought of her as Dana Scully. I don't think that is a bad thing either. She played the part very well. I hope she continues to get other rolls but would still come back to do another X-Files. We will all see though.

It's almost impossible to see her in anything these days, since she left this country three - four years ago, and now resides in the UK. Hopefully, Straightheads will be released here. It looks like it might kick a$$. As far as A C**k and Bull Story, that was only shown in NYC at one of those film festivals back in October or November. The Last King of Scotland will probably never make it to American shores. And The Mighty Celt airs on one of those movie channels from time to time that I don't have. Hell Cab (Chicago Cab) was pretty good. Even though she had a small part in it, it was different, to say the least. The funniest thing to me about that movie is when the cabbie starts complaining about how he couldn't find a job where he's from. That's the city I live in!

That is a great scene. I just love the angle they took on the film, showing us what cabbies see during their daily job.
I would really like to see Gillian in some big screen movie soon.
By the way, I am glad she dropped the blonde hair she had going for a while, just wasn't her.

She didn't drop it. It's still blonde. Or a variation of it.
She isn't a natural redhead. It was dyed during all those years on "The X-Files". I have to admit, she did look good with it. It really suited her.
Her natural haircolor is ash/dirty blonde, apparently.

Wow, interesting fact. She looked so natural with the read hair. When I saw her with the blond hairdo it just didn't look right. But then again, I have seen her on X-Files for so long, of course I am going to think that way.
