Or what kind of CD's do you own?
I have all kinds ranging from country/bluegra$$, to soundtracks, to album rock.
Someone just gave me "The Essential Journey" for my birthday. It's pretty good, but I only actually remember about 5 of the songs.
I like pretty much all kinds of music from today and yesterday.
I'm having trouble thinking up topics for this section! Does anyone have any good ideas? Or should we do some games that add a lot of posts like "the person above or below" or "1000 posts"?

I mainly listen to: Dark/Death/Gothic Metal (No, not Marilyn Manson! His music is not even close to being anything like that. And no, I, myself am not Gothic. I just really enjoy that type of music.) 1970s/80s Punk 1980s Synth/Pop Heavy Metal Alternative

I listen to a lot of different music. I mostly listen to techno and hard rock but I also love early 1920-30's jazz music. Big band is ok too.
I will try and come up with some new threads on this section!

Just bought the brand new Thrillseekers CD titled "Nightmusic Volume 1" I had to buy it on import but it was well worth it.
The Thrillseekers is a trance/dance music band from the UK. A lot of dance/techno elements but mostly relaxing trance type beats. Very cool...relaxes me.
How about everyone else? What is in your cd player right now?

Great thread ;D I listen to just about everything except for rap and jazz. I've got over 400 CDs in my collection that run the gamut from bluegra$$ to heavy metal. My all time favorite bands/artists are Belly/Tanya Donelly, Veruca Salt/Nina Gordon, Neko Case, The Muffs, The LMX (The Lisa Marr Experiment)/The Beards/Cub/Buck, Alison Krauss and Union Station, Hank Williams Jr, The Refreshments, Social Distortion, Face to Face, Evanescence, 7 Year B#tch, The Gits, Echobelly, Republica, Dance Hall Crashers, Juliana Hatfield/The Blake Babies/Some Girls/The Juliana Hatfield Three, Letters to Cleo, Liz Phair, Natalie Merchant/10,000 Maniacs.... I could go on and on and on...lol
Coincidentally, if anyone likes Evanescence check out the link in my sig. It'll take you to a great Evanescence board that I also co-admin ;D

I like AKUS and also Evanescence, too! I've actually already visited your Evanescence site and it was great! But I don't know enough about them to actually make any comments. I'm more of a person who likes a particular song instead of a particular artist!

"Weird Al" definitely has made some of the greatest paradies of songs ever. I've been listening to The Human League a lot lately.

I was listening to his "Even Worse" album last night. I laugh so hard every time I hear listen to his stuff........brilliant!
The Human League....I haven't heard their music in a long time. If you can find it on one of the music downloading sites, download their song "Tell Me When" (The Red Jerry Mix). Pretty cool version.
