Since we bring up horror movies and ghost topics a lot, I thought I would start a new thread so we can discuss the topic. To start things off, I wanted to bring up the radio show Coast to Coast AM. I am not sure if any of you listen to this or are aware of it. Coast to Coast AM is a nationwide late night radio show that has been # 1 for years. Here in the Central Time Zone, it runs from midnight until 4:00 AM. You can find it on most big name AM radio dials. The show is run by Art Bell (the founder) and George Noory. It discusses topics like Alien abductions, UFO's, Big Foot, new energy sources, Government Conspiracies, Ghosts, Hauntings, and just about anything else. I have been listening to this show for over 3 years now and try not to miss it. It is on every night of the week. Although, on weekdays I only hear about 45 minutes before I fall asleep. No wonder I am tired all week! LOL! Check out the site if you have never heard of this. Sometimes just goofy nuts call the show and you knw they are lying, other times they have some creepy stuff on there! www.coasttocoastam.com/

That sounds interesting. I'll have to check it out. Ghosts/hauntings are what I am most interested in. Like to frequent boards where there are no skeptics! LOL.

Oh yeah, I've listened to that radio show occasionally. None of the normal AM broadcast stations around here carry it but I have heard it on short wave when band conditions are good. It's definately some interesting listening. I'm a big fan of ghost hunters on sci-fi. I'd love to be a member of TAPS...lol

I haven't heard of that. Most likely because I may not get that station where I am. Then again, I barely listen to the radio, so I could be wrong.

I hear ya. In Minneapolis/St. Paul it can be heard on KSTP AM 1500. I don't know if there is a listing of stations that it is heard on. I will check though. You can however get it live on the internet at www.kfi640.com, one of my favorite Los Angeles AM stations. I am a big AM radio guy.

No, what channel is it on? I would love to check it out.
Not sure if anyone listened to Coast to Coast AM last night but they were talking about UFO cover ups in the UK and it was really interesting.

It's on the Discovery Channel. Friday they talked about Bobby Mackey's Music World in Wilder, KY. That is one creepy story and I don't think I would really want to visit that place even if I had a chance to.
I haven't tried the radio show yet. I hardly listen to the radio anymore, but one of these times I'll give it a try.

Thanks for the info! I will definitely check it out one Friday night.
Quick question for everyone. A while back I saw a story (ghost story) about a women who build this crazy house in California somewhere. It had something to do with how there was a curse in her family and her husband told her when he was dying to keep building it and she would not get the curse. She had stairways that led to nothing and rooms without doors and such. The whole story sent chills up my spine and I saw some images of what this house looks like. I think she eventually went nuts in it. I guess you can take small tours or something. Scary as hell!
Anybody know what this story is? Name of the house?

Oh yeah, that's the Winchester Mystery House. The curse had to do with all the people killed by the Winchester repeating rifle which her husband's family invented/manufactured. It would be a creepy place to visit, and I wouldn't be scared to go there.
I wouldn't want to go to Bobby Mackey's because the site was once a slaughterhouse in the 1800's and after it was closed, some Satan worshipers used it for their rituals. There was a woman killed near there in the late 1800's. Her head was cut off and thrown down the well that is still in the basement of the building. There are some evil spirits inhabiting the place. There have been many other murders and suicides there, I guess because of the evil nature of the site itself. It would be really a bad place to go.

I would love to go to the Winchester Mystery House. That place is awesome! I also would like to go to Sharon Tate's house. But, as far as I know, it's not a place where they do tours.

I don't think so, but it would be an interesting place to visit. I would also like to visit the Myrtle's Plantation.

Good question. I didn't see anything on their site that lists that. Go to KFIAM 640 www.kfi640.com/main.htmlThey have a live stream and you can hear it through that. If you live in Pennsylvania, it's on at 1:00 am.
