I love hot weather, in the summer it gets so hot and humid here but I just love it. I think I'm the only one though. I like that sticky hot feeling....probably because I can only feel it 3 months out of the year.

Not me! I'd rather be cool. Really I'd rather be somewhere where the temperature is neither hot or cold all year long. Hmmmmm, where would that be?

Maybe the Pacific Northwest? I wouldn't mind living there, actually. Or somewhere in the UK. Midwestern summers are a pain in the a$$. The humidity makes things unbearable.

Try Mid to Northern California Kelly. I hear it's simply amazing weather wise.

I know. Somehow my auto insurance went down $3, BUT my satellite went UP $3, my internet went up $2 and my electric company waited 34 days to read my meter, causing a higher electric bill this month. AND my homeowners insurance was due. So, this is not a great month for me financially!

How is the Spring going where you live? Temps have been way above normal here and I just love it. Our normal high is around 60 this time of year and just a few days ago it was 86!

There's above normal temps right now where I am. It's been in the lower to mid 60s. Pretty pleasant. But by the end of the week, first part of next, the temps will be back to normal, around the mid 50s. Not that I'm complaining. Late last week the temps were in the low 80s. A little too warm for my liking. The humidity certainly didn't help. All that did was make ot feel like it was 85+.

We are having nice weather here so far. Last week we had a very windy day, blew a lot of dust into my house, so I had to clean the next day, but that's okay! Yesterday's high was 83 and today is supposed to be 86 and we should be up to 90 by this weekend. But according to this morning's news the record temp for this day was in 1989. It was 103. So I don't think I have anything to complain about with the weather we are having!

Sounds wonderful to me. Although I can't stand wind at all! It has been so windy here this spring. Today there were 30 mile an hour wind gusts and I got a piece of dust in my contact. Anyone who wears contacts will tell you that hurts like crazy!

I don't wear contacts but I could image that would hurt like heck. I'm surprised we don't have a lot of wind this spring. Normally here in Pennsyltuckey it's constantly windy in spring and fall especially at night for some reason.

I wear contact lenses, and yes, it does hurt when anything gets in there. Dust, eyelash, etc. It's kind of like, 'Quick! Get the eye drops!' The weather here is still quite lovely. Temps in the mid 60s. Possiblt some rain on the way, but nothing like thos past Sunday. That was nuts! It rained ALL day and night. The basement started to get water seeping through the walls from too much ground saturation.

I can only imagine what getting anything behind your contact would feel like! Ouch! Today we are sunny and it is 84 right now. Supposed to be a high of 93 in Phx. I live about 50 miles from there.

Sounds like a lot of rain MonkeyGirl!! Just off to your west last week, Iowa City got nailed by tornadoes! We just had a storm roll by here at work (west of where I live) with hail! It has been active lately.
