The TV in the bedroom was on just now and I could hear it from where I am sitting at the computer. It was on CMT or some yucky country music channel (apologies to those who like this channel) and this song came on:
Honky Tonk Ba Donk A Donk
I think this gets my vote for one of the worst songs ever! (again I apologize to whomever may like this song)
Do you guys have any "worst ever" songs?

All those Kidz Bop (do those count?) songs. There're so annoying! Everytime those commercials come on I want to puncture my ear drums. That "Milkshake" song... ugh!  I have plenty more, but it would take forever! LOL |

Just the other day I was driving along listening to channel 19 on the CB and some idiot keyed their mic and started blaring it over the air...gaaah!..lol let's see...others are... anything by Cake anything by Bare Naked Ladies the newer stuff by Red Hot Chili Peppers the newer stuff by Green Day (I don't know what happened to them. They used to be a great band  ) anything by Smashmouth anything by Sugar Ray lol...there are lots of others I can't think of off hand. |

There are so many songs that are the worst on my list.
Anything by the Backdoor Boys...sorry, the Backstreet Boys.
Anything by that terrible boy band Color Me Bad...which they still play sometimes at the gym I go to!!!!!!!! Are you kidding me!! Nothing like working out to "I Adore Mi Amor". What?!?!
Most rap these days. I am sick and tired of hearing songs about sex over and over again........change it up! I miss the oldschool Beastie Boys.

Smitty, I am with you on Sugar Ray.....terrible!
Anything by Ashlee, Jessica Simpson, or that Kelly Clarkson girl......can't stand her.

"I love Should I Stay or Should I Go." :\ I like the Clash anyway. Any old school (1970s - 1980s Punk) really. But none of the stuff that has come out of the past decade. Gag me!
Oh yeah, I hate all the boy bands, Ashley and Jessica Simpleton, I mean Simpson, Britney Spears and Kelly Clarkson. Anything that gets labled Pop nowadays, I hate.
I absolutely loathe Rap, except for the Beastie Boys and RunDMC.

Hillary Duff is terrible. What's wrong with music producers these days! They let these garbage actors and actresses sign contracts to put out cd's.
I remember the Hampster Dance. One of those songs that became popular because they messed with the voice to make it sound like the Chipmunks. Just like this new Crazy Frog remake of Axel F.
The Spice Girls were just awful.

I can't stand the Black Eyed Peas. They remind me of one of those groups that the music industry tries to force on us. Their music was first in commericals and stadium anthems and now we have to listen to them on the radio!

So let's change the topic slightly to TV theme songs. What are the best and worst of those?
I really hate the theme to the Nanny. After you heard it a billion times it really gets on your nerves! MUTE! Only one episode did they not have the theme song and it was the one where Fran discovers she isn't pregnant like she was told at first. I guess that was too sad of a moment to have that raucous theme song play right after!
One of my fav theme songs is from this old show that only ran like one season in '69 or '70 called "Cade's County". They showed it for a while on TV Land goes West a few years back. It has a really good Henry Mancini theme song.
